Rice With Lemon Preparation |
Ingredients:
Lemon Rice |
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lemon for juice
- 20 cashew nuts
- 1 cup peas
- 2 chopped onion
- 2 green chillis chopped
- 1 tbsp gram dal
- 50 gms peanuts
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp cumin jeera
- 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
- 8 tbsp Vegetable Oil
Method Of Preparation Step By Step:
Step 1 – Rice
preparation:
Cook the rice with salt as needed using 4 cups of water or
as needed very carefully. Cooked rice must be non-sticky. So always remember
for exact water, try to use always less water than usually making daily rice
for your family. When the rice is cooked, immediate transfer it to flat big
plate. Keep aside for cooling, so that the rice retains its proper shape. Now your
rice is ready for making Lemon Rice.
Step 2 – Peas
preparation:
Wash all peas and then cook green peas with salt as needed.
Step 3 – Tempering
and Frying onions:
Heat oil in non-stick pan and
mustard seeds. when the seeds splutter then add cumin
seeds, green chilly, onion and gram dals. Fry the onion till it become turns to
reddish. But remember burner is in medium flame.
Step 4 – Lemon / Lime
Juice Preparation:
Now take the lemon juice in extract condition and filter it
to remove lime seeds. Now add the said juice for tempering and again fry for
few seconds.
Step 5 – Adding Peas:
Now mix all the cooked peas to the tempered ingredients and
stir well gently.
Step 6 – Mixing rice:
Now add cooked rice to the ingredients and then mix all
these gently. Mix all these lightly and gently.
Step 7 – Add Nuts –
Cashews and Peanuts:
Remove the finished rice from the heat. Now take 1 tsp ghee
or oil in a fresh pan with cashews and groundnuts separately. Mix these nuts to
the rice and also you can use Coriander leaves for garnishing Lemon Rice. Now your
Lemon Rice is absolutely ready to serve as soon as possible to get better test.
