Tomato Peas Rice |
RICE WITH TOMATO PEAS
Ingredients:
- 4 Tomatoes
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic Pods
- 3 Cloves
- 2 Cinnamons each 1 inch
- 2 Bay Leaf
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- ¼ tsp Chilli Powder
- ½ tsp Coriander Powder
- 2 Green Chilli
- Salt to taste
- A handful of Coriander Leaves
- 2 tsp grated coconut
- Frozen Peas & Corn
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Ghee
- Cooked Rice
Method
- Rice separately cooks in rice cooker.
- Heat the oil and ghee in non-stick pan
- Put cumin, cloves cinnamon, bay leaf, garlic, green chilli and chopped onion for tampering.
- Fry onions till turn brown and soft
- Now add chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder.
- Fry tomatoes till cooked very well.
- Now add frozen peas and corn when tomatoes supposed to be half done.
- When the paste becomes thick then adds rice and grated coconut and again mix very well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with plain papppad or yogurt etc.
