- 1 kg Prawns
- 4 Onions
- 3 Tomatos
- 3 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander
- 1tsp Garam Masala
- 5 Green Chillis
- 2 spring Curry leaves
- 2 tbsp Lime Juice or Vinegar
- 8 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
- ½ Cup Water

Method of Preparation
Prep: 10 min
Cook: 15 min
- Wash, remove and clean the prawns, marinated with salt.
- Marinate them with Red Chilli Powder, Vinegar/Lime Juice and Ginger-Garlic paste. Keep the prawns aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and let splutter.
- Heat oil in a non-stick cooking pan and then add mustard seeds.
- When they stop puttering then add finely chopped onions sauté it, Ginger-Garlic paste and fry until the onions becomes golden brown.
- Now add masala, when onions turns into golden brown, then chopped tomatoes and chopped chillies. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
- Make sure that tomatoes are mashed. Then add 2 springs of curry leaves and mix it well.
- Add all prawns and mix it well finely with the masala.
- Add a little water to the prawns masala and salt to taste and let it cook for few minutes.
- Serve immediately once the masala becomes thicker.
